Off Season Training

So now I am in the off season. Well I have been for quite some time, but I just started training again. I took a break after the Twin Cities Marathon (which was not a great event for me compared to last year) and was glad that I did. I trained maybed once a week for a good month. Over the past two weeks I have slowly started to get back into a routine. Mon/Fri's I do strength training at the gym. Tues/Thurs's I swim with a Master's swim class. On the weekends, I tend to run (inside at the moment as I just can't seem to motivate myself to pull on my winter running gear) and occasionally ride the bike. My goal is get my off-season program in full swing in the next 7 days which will get me on the bike and running twice a week as well. All my workouts are low to moderate intensity with very interval work. My swim workouts tend to be a bit more taxing, but they are still fun.

What's next? Well I need to start planning my 2006 season!
